Through the development of proven methodologies, individually customised learning programmes, world-class technology, and motivated and skilled educators; their aim is to create a brighter future for children across the globe. Kip McGrath Education Centre (KMEC) is building a culture strategy driven to develop their people and enhance systems and services to fulfil their business mission.
As they enter a new growth phase, they are looking for a budding Learning & Development professional with demonstrated skills in instructional design, e-learning development or digital learning curation. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will work as part of a team of curriculum and subject matter experts to refresh and build new learning, vital to supporting KMEC’s high growth and embedding new ways of working.
This role will be responsible for assessing existing frameworks to ensure they are vigorous enough to stand the test of scalability. You will have every opportunity to adapt existing and new frameworks to create a capability that nurtures curiosity, keeps learning fun but also meets the practical requirements for the franchise aspects of this organisation. 

You will work closely with your colleagues to efficiently and effectively become productive and contribute to key deliverables and the overall business strategy. You will play a key role across a range of projects, by influencing stakeholder engagement through the development of innovative and engaging learning that supports and embeds behaviour change.

With some exciting projects scoped for delivery, this position will also:
  • Plan, support and execute the refresh and delivery of learning, in line with KMEC’s strategic objectives and learning approach.
  • Build creative and contemporary learning modules and solutions in order to address gaps in the delivery of KMEC’s competitive advantage.
  • Build KMEC’s capability in relation to Action Mapping and Goal Based approach to determine the goals of intervention and develop solutions that will really make a difference to our business.
  • Adopt training needs analysis and evaluation frameworks to support evaluation of training against learning and business outcomes.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of the drivers and connections between culture, leadership, business strategy and performance. The key accountabilities for this role will include talent development, content development and facilitation, relationship management and digital transformation.

You will also have:
  • Formal qualifications in Education /Business /Communications /Instructional /Learning Design or equivalent combined experience
  • Sound technical skill set in graphic design training production tools e.g. Video, Rise, Storyboarding etc.
  • Excellent communications skills, including the ability to coach others;
  • Demonstrated ability to identify business learning needs and develop strategies and associated plans;
  • Previous experience in the creation and delivery of learning packages, including instructional design;
  • Previous experience in supporting corporate learning management systems;
  • Proven skills in exercising effective perspective, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations in a fast-paced environment; and
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills, including experience in building convincing business cases.
